Air Jordan 2010 W3lcome Home

Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home”
Dwyane Wade grew up watching Michael Jordan in Chicago. When he transferred to the Jordan Brand this past off-season, there was more than just the marketing move. It symbolized an NBA superstar “coming home” to his roots. While we wait until this off-season to find out if Wade actually “comes home” to the Bulls, we still have the new Air Jordan 2010 to pay tribute to Wade’s Chicago roots. “W3lcome Home” appears on the insoles and lends itself to the shoe’s nickname. Red leather is on the toe and heel areas, with patent adding some extra shine. The mid-panel that holds the controversial window has been done with white perforated leather. A black midsole matches the liner, while a red outsole finishes off the colorway. Short size are already available at marqueesole.

Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home”

Filed Under (Air Jordan) by sneaker-mag on 28-01-2010

Air Jordan 2010 W3lcome Home
Jordan Brand made perhaps the biggest signing since His Airness himself when they welcome Dwyane Wade to the family. And the newest member did not waste any time to make his presence felt, leading the campaign for the new Air Jordan 2010. Since its introduction, the Air Jordan 2010 has been designed in different colorways that have at least caused sneakerheads to reevaluate this silhouette- such as the pair in university blue. Another colorway releasing this year is the one pictured here, nicknamed the “Welcome Home.” One way in which Jordan Brand has welcomed D-Wade home is by designing a shirt that last year popped up on eBay. Now the same saying can be found on the soles of this AJ 2010, which sports a JB classic white/varsity red-black colorway. You can surely expect D.Wade to hit the hardwood floors in a couple of pairs of the Air Jordan 2010 after it officially releases next month. Stay tuned for official release information regarding this pair once we get word of any.

Air Jordan Icons “Jordan Brand Classic”

Filed Under (Air Jordan) by sneaker-mag on 28-01-2010

Air Jordan Icons Jordan Brand Classic
Towards the tail end of last year the Air Jordan Icons made respectable noise in the sneaker realm, with many people singing its praises regardless of the fact that it’s obviously not part of the signature Air Jordan sneaker series. In fact, the Air Jordan Icons was also used as part of a collection of Oak Hill Academy Player Exclusives designed for the lucky institution. The Air Jordan Icons here sports a somewhat patriotic color palette, as the upper comes in a predominantly white and blue perforated combination. Then a slight touch of red can be spotted on the shoe laces area and tongue, completing the trio of colors that the American flag is made of. While a release date is not yet set in stone, you can find some pairs available now from select Jordan Brand retailers overseas.
