Hanon x Reebok Stomper VCMP

Hanon x Reebok Stomper VCMP
The entire design and concept of the Reebok Alien Stomper had its debut in the 1986 Aliens sequel made by Ridley Scott. Hence, it is just as fitting to see it pop up in a sci fi theme of its own. The Visual Countermeasures Project was built as a response to the increasing number of CCTVs watching around the city streets of UK along with the rest of the other businesses.
With this Hanon x Reebok Stomper collaboration, these sneakers offer a black upper in 3M scotchlite reflecting the not so clear future of such a society living under surveillance. You may have already seen these back a few months ago with just news of very limited run in 60 pairs. But recently, they have once again popped at Atmos, a Japanese Sneaker specialist. So stick with us if you need more news about these sneakers. We will definitely keep you posted!

Basquiat x Reebok Pump Omni Lite
The art pieces of Jean Michael Basquiat have really made him very popular and famous. This is due to the fact that a few of his pieces have been known to have been priced for as high as $14 million dollars. For any sneaker fan, this could really be way too impossible to own any of his pieces. But here is some good news. You can already have a piece of any of his artwork but in a different form but still as appealing. This is through this collaborative and custom made shoe called the Basquiat x Reebok Pump Omni Lite.
This shoe pair will feature the artwork of the popular artist Basquiat. This can be seen all throughout the uppers utilizing the black and white base. It is also sprinkled in yellow for its contrasting accents to give things a good break. If things would be too simple, then it would be less interesting.

John Wall Signs with Reebok
John Wall is looking at instant fame as the NBA draft is just a couple of weeks away. But even before the draft, John Wall got a taste of the NBA life. John Wall has signed an endorsement contract with  Reebok, which is worth nearly $25 million over five years. Before Wall signed with Reebok, he turned down offers from both Nike and Under Armour. It makes no sense to turn down an offer from Nike, so there was most likely a major issue involved. Wall’s representatives have negotiated at least two guaranteed signature shoes as part of the deal. Stay tuned for more info on Walls endorsement with Nike. Image via Sneakernews.

Reebok x 24 Kilates for FCVK Pack
Numerous sports and shoe companies have really recently concentrated their attention on the World Cup series. But to make things different, Reebok together with 24 Kilates came up with a pack that is not focused on a certain country’s international competing team.
This is the F.C.V.K. Pack which have two Reebok Classics in colors of black and white. The first one has a white leather for the sole and mid panel. Its uppers on the other hand have a white royal blue suede mixed with durasheen. While the other pair has predominant black uppers and blue hints all over the sneakers.
The heel of the shoes for the left foot shows some symbol in ode to 24 Kilates. They also came up with matching uniforms for soccer designed specifically for the pack. These will be dropped in the Spanish Store by June 12th. Would you be interested to have one for your self?

Reebok GL 6000
Reebok has been successful in giving us old school treats when it comes to their sneaker designs. They have just recently released the Omni Light plus the Pump20 Collection. This coming fall/winter of 2010, they will bring back the cousin of Classic Nylon and Phase 2. Here comes the GL 6000. After a decade or so, this stylish design is another addition to wide collection of retro sneaker styles that were already released this 2010.
This collection is also called as the Woven Label Collection which offers 4 different colorways which included blue/white/black, black/aqua, blue/white/red, and red/white/black. They have used a sufficient amount of classic materials like the high quality suede that comes with a soft nylon mesh. It also has a die-cut EVA midsole to give the wearer some comfort to the shadow of the classic look of the shoes.
They are definitely cool. Which particular colorway do you like best to have?

Chang is a great tennis player that made popular the Court Victory Pump silhouette on the peak of his playing career. Now, going on with the shoe, other features include designs on the upper of turquoise and neon accents as well as the trademark feature of real tennis ball treatment used on the pump itself. After its popular introduction in the Aliens, the Reebok Stomper is once again taking the scene with its one of a kind alien design. The VCMP or The visual Countermeasures Project chose Reebok Stomper series to make their mission statement come alive. This is with regards to the debate which concerns the present trend in the society of public securitization.
This VCMP x Reebok Stomper is covered entirely of Scotchlite that reinforces the already weird design of the shoes. It will be made available by February 25 in just 60 limited number of pairs.
