Last month we got a really early look at some pairs of the Vans Half Cab slated to come out in Spring/Summer 2010. But it seems as though Vans is still churning out a couple more before the end of THIS year. Pictured here is another Vans Half Cab in a colorway that comes real close to another, monumental December release from another brand. This pair comes in a predominantly black suede upper with blue on the ankle area and mid panel. Finished off with an all-white vulcanized sole, this pair is actually on sale now on the Vans website for .

Often times the holiday season can get all different sorts of people into the holiday spirit. And it seems as though something similar has happened with the Vans crew and Washington DC-based Palace 5ive. Fresh off a collaboration with In4mation, Vans now teams up with the DC shop Palace 5ive and has prepared a speciail edition, holiday season Sk8-High Vert-Pro. This shoe’s upper is covered in blue mesh, while the third lace hole from the top actually comes in the form of a hex nut. A pair of complementary blue wax shoe laces comes along with a traditional set of white ones, and white contrast stitching is seen throughout the entire white sole. This shoe is finished off with a classic all-white sole and has been limited to 200 pairs worldwide. It drops this Saturday, December 12 at the Palace 5ive shop and their online site.

A highlight of their Holiday 2009 collection, the latest from the Vans Vault comes in a the form of a series of three new Vans SK8-Hi LX models. Including colorways in Black, Cherise, and Dragonfly, the pack features velvety smooth nubuck uppers, white midsoles, and contrast stitching, lining, and laces. Priced from around , the new kicks from Vans featuring R. Crumb’s images of some of his most famous characters, including Fritz the Cat [shown above] and Mr. Natural. Word on the street is that this will be the start of an ongoing collaboration between the artist and the innovative skate company.
