Nike Max Lebron VII Original Red Carpet ZCorp 3D Resin
Many sneaker fans were and continue to be excited about the Nike Max Lebron VII “Red Carpet” colorway, which we just informed you would be restocked in early December. For those of you who are not only sneakerheads, but also sneakergeeks, a few pictures have surfaced online that might be of interest to you. Pictured here is the original Z-Corp 3D Resin model of the “Red Carpet,” which basically is the final product’s “floorplan,” if you will. It’s a computerized sample of the shoe that aids in the design process by giving designers a glimpse of what the color blocking and scheme might look like before it goes into production. Jason Petrie, the designer of the Red Carpet Lebron VII, forwarded the fact that Lebron had asked for a pair to be designed specifically for the red carpet unveiling of the “More Than a Game” movie. And the rest is history.

Nike Zoom Skyposite Yi Jianlian
Towards the end of October we were able to bring you word of the 202 House of Hoops exclusive Nike Zoom Skyposite made in a nice colorway and sporting a healthy mix of materials. The next Skyposite we’re showing you now is one that the Nike team designed specifically for the New Jersey Nets’ forward Yi Jianlian. The tongue sports a red “Yi,” while very few other blue and red accents contribute to a silhouette that sports a predominantly white base. Ironically enough, these look like a pair of shoes that the USA Olympic basketball team might wear the next time its called upon to dominate the rest of the world. You can check out more pictures of this Player Exclusive after the jump.

Converse Checkered Jack Purcell Holiday 2009

Converse Checkered Jack Purcell Holiday 2009
The Jack Purcell was recently previewed in a waxed leather upper with white soles. Now, Converse Japan is preparing to release two pairs of the Jack Purcell in a low-top cut that sport checkered uppers. Still with completely white soles, these pairs of the Jack Purcell sport a checkered grey/black/white upper and a checkered brown/red/black, respectively, adding to the overall attention the Jack Purcell model demands from passers by. How do you feel about the decision to not only use the checkered model, but also work on a low-top cut of the sneaker instead of anything else? Releasing soon, you’re best shot at these might very well be an online retailer- either way, happy hunting!

nonnative x New Balance CM1500 Holiday 2009
The New Balance 1500 model seems to often be the silhouette of choice when it comes to special occasions or limited releases. It was the model recently chosen for a purple/black limited edition release that some of you genuinely liked. Now, the CM1500 is once again the focus of another collaboration between New Balance and nonnative. Pictured here is a collection of two pairs of the CM1500 that nonnative and New Balance worked on, which is set to release this December- at least from some very select Nike retailers. One pair sports a predominantly navy blue suede/mesh upper with white and sky blue accents, while the second pair sports a grey suede/mesh upper with very similar accents. What are your thoughts with respect to the latest take on the New Balance CM1500?

Nubuck Nike Court Force Highs
In the first week of November we showed you three pairs of the Nike Court Force high that also released during the month. Now, we show you some of what Nike has in store for the future of the Court Force. Reportedly releasing some time between the 2009 holiday season and Spring 2010, here are two pairs of the Nike Court Force high that each sport nubuck material. One pair sports black nubuck material near the toe area, with white and carolina blue making up the rest of the shoe’s colorway. The second pair dons dark grey nubuck in the same area as the first pair, with red and black completing that colorway. And both pairs include a grid patterning near the ankle area, which resembles the pattern recently seen on another Court Force. Which pair of these two Nike Court Force highs do you think works the nubuck material better?
