But of course, such glorious footwear can never be possible had it been a different brand. All Adidas for making it happen. They collaborated with the lurid Jeremy Scott in creating an extravagant shoe that will be a part of the Christmas exhibition happening at the flagships of Colette. While there are already sneakers with Swarovski crystals available at Colette’s (the Swarovski x Sabrina Dehoff), the JS Wing is far more different than the latter model. Well of course, the crystals were placed at the WHOLE shoe, not just a part of it.
Interested? Get ready to prepare a hefty price of 2500 pounds!  So how much does it cost in US dollars?

For sneaker fiends, it’s hard to believe that there is anything closer than kicks as a man’s best friend. This season, London’s design collective, Vinti Andrews took one of the most popular silhouettes, Air Max from Nike, took it apart and recreated it in the form of man’s most loyal friend. Unlike your usual collaborations, the Air Max Dog is mixed and patched from various Air Maxes in multiple colorways. Some die-hard fans might gasp at the desecration, but this is not the first time Vinti Andrews laid hands on some coveted Nike kicks. Previously, there had been the Jordan V Dog and the Nike Pitbull. Other than some masterful color coordination, check out the spiked collar on the Air Max puppy. Honestly, the best kicks plus the most loyal creature without the troubles of toilet training? New Balance has gotten together with Tamiya, makes of the RC Toy Car we enjoyed in the past as kids. Despite being a very unusual collaboration, both brands made it work. They’ve decided to use the New Balance 574 model, a great choice. The 574 was inspired by the popular Dash-1 Emperor model Tamiya created. Follow the jump for more facts and pics…

The New Balance 574 wil include a orange leather upper, along with black, blue, and yellow found throughout the entire sneaker. The two brands also added star eyelets and the #49 embroidered onto the tongue of the sneaker. If you decide to pick-up a pair of the New Balance 574 you will also get two Dash-1 Emperor toys and a messenger bag produced by Porter, whom also collaborated with Tamiya. Available now at select retailers.

The JS Wings sneakers from Jeremy Scott and adidas Original’s collaboration has been widely received and loved for its bold and imaginative design. This season, it’s a white Christmas for the collaboration partners as they joined hands with Swarvoski for the latter’s Crystallized project. The Crystallized project celebrates the holiday season with colette with a collaborative White Crystal Christmas, which enlisted the help of various labels to create something new, shiny and happily festive with Swarovski crystals. As for Jeremy Scott’s part, he dressed the now iconic JS Wings in white in a generous dose of all-over crystals. The sneakers are not for the faint of heart and are more so collector’s items than something to kick around the Lower East Side with. For those who do find these intriguing and desirable, they are available by request only exclusively via colette. Follow the jump for some more pics.

George Lucas has been a merchandising genius for quite some time. In his latest, extremely extensive collaborative effort between galactic juggernaut Star Wars and terrestrial brand adidas, we see 13 versions that should make for some exciting convention banter among the Star Wars enthusiasts. Lucasfilm Ltd. and adidas Originals have teamed up to release models that will start releasing in January 2010 in both general and extremely limited releases. Some standout models include the Micropacer model complete with shots from the film (including a light saber battle), a shiny silver upper, and a red white and blue midsole–all representing the more extreme side of the collection. More muted models include the black and red Darth Vadar Shelltoe model with simple accents, a black on black Super Death Star Shelltoe, the orange Skywalker model, and the impressively-styled Stormtrooper with puffy stripes. Besides this heap of releases shown here, adidas is also releasing Star Wars-themed apparel. Expect much more specific information soon, but for now, even the casual Force fan will get a kick out of this joint venture.

Lebron James laced up a pair of Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IIIs in the ‘Think Pink’ colourway during this year’s preseason.  He’ll take to the court for real tonight as the Cleveland Cavaliers ‘Box Out Breast Cancer’.  The pink ribbon awareness program will see King James sport one or possibly both Think Pink Air Max LeBron VII colorways, while the Cavs asked fans to wear pink to the Quicken Loans Arena against central division rivals, the Chicago Bulls. It seems like Nike has released one of their Spring 2010 sneakers early. The Lunar Mariah ND+ comes in two colorways – black/electric green/red and white/blue/pink. The Nike Lunar Mariah combines the upper of the 1980’s Air Mariah with the outsole of the 2008 Lunar Racer and has everything you need for your fitness needs and more with Nike+ technology in the sole to record your time/speed and fitness, a super lightweight upper and a responsive foam sole. As Reebok’s iconic Pump model celebrates its 20th birthday, the collaborative kicks with retailers around the globe are pumping out both online and soon in stores. Other than an onslaught of previous collaborations we reported with retailers such as Amsterdam’s Patta and San Franciso’s HUF, atmos Tokyo is also a part of the celebration with their very own version of Reebok Pump. The atmos Tokyo pair features a cool black upper atop black and white speckled mid-soles and gradient purple and white outsoles. Mixed in with purple panels and lime green accents in laces and logos, the sneakers also sport matching speckled accents on the upper. The atmos Tokyo release is extremely limited with a run of 31 pairs exclusively at atmos Tokyo. More pics after the jump.

The Nike Sportswear Air Royal mid makes its return once again this month with an all new version. Last month saw a work boot themed release, this month things take a more sophisticated route.
