Vans recently added Suicidal Tendencies to its list of bands they pay homage by creating custom sneakers and other apparel items.
This spring’s collection includes T-shirts, shorts, trucker hats and even a wallet, but the centerpiece is the Limited Edition Suicidal Tendencies Sk8-Hi top sneaker which features drawings inspired by the bands albums artwork.
Suicidal Tendencies was formed in Venice, Southern California, nearly thirty years ago and gathered a huge following among punkers and skaters with sounds like “Institutionalized†and “You Can’t Bring Me Down“.
They were a major contributor to the creation of skate punk genre, before the band changed its focus to thrash metal.
Vans homage for the band also includes a limited edition Era sneaker, which features a big skeleton face on the insole and the band’s logo across the heel, over a surprising light blue canvas.

Although this past weekend was all about the NBA All-Star festivities, for which Nike designed a special edition Western Conference Nike Zoom Kobe V, it is now back to your regularly scheduled 2009-2010 NBA season. To that extent, we have an update regarding the Nike Zoom Kobe V we showed you last week, which is designed to match the the Los Angeles Lakers’ home uniforms. The home Lakers edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe V comes in a white/del sol-grey-varsity purple colorway and is scheduled to release from participating Nike retailers such as Foot Locker locations nationwide in the month of April. Sitting as the favorites out west, don’t be surprised to see a bunch of Lakers sporting this colorway as they indeed try to bring another trophy home to Los Angeles. Will you be sporting the same sneakers?

You may be wondering what in the world is SVSM? It stands for Saint Vincent Saint Mary’s in Akron which has a high school basketball team that gave rise to LeBron James. Now, who the heck is LeBron James? You are out of this planet if you haven’t seen him with his friends on the court during their senior year for an ESPN-televised showdown with Oak Hill.
Seven years may have passed but LeBron’s gratitude to his school never seems to end. With LeBron’s Nike apparel and exclusive signature kicks, the SVSM team will now have a home colorway quite similar to the World Tour Air Max LeBron VII which is a Green/ White/ Gold version. Other sneaker’s features include white patent leather base and green nubuck trim as well as Flywire and custom Irish tags.

After its popular introduction in the Aliens, the Reebok Stomper is once again taking the scene with its one of a kind alien design. The VCMP or The visual Countermeasures Project chose Reebok Stomper series to make their mission statement come alive. This is with regards to the debate which concerns the present trend in the society of public securitization.
This VCMP x Reebok Stomper is covered entirely of Scotchlite that reinforces the already weird design of the shoes. It will be made available by February 25 in just 60 limited number of pairs.

Okay the Nike Blazer High is officially my favorite Nike sneaker. I just made that choice after seeing this Nike Blazer High. The shoe just jumps at you. There is just something about these sneakers that just make it so special. Maybe its the eye popping colorway. This Nike Blazer High comes in an Metallic Silver colorway. Metallic Silver is covered over the whole upper. Black is used on the Nike Swoosh, liner, heel, and the top of the tongue. White is seen on the midsole, while red is featured on the outsole and the Nike Branding on the heel. These are available overseas now, but expect a release in the states sometime soon.

The “Kryptonate†colorway became popular when Nate Robinson from the NY Knicks won the 2009 Slam Dunk Contest. Robinson won the contest in the Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonateâ€. These were revealed by DJ Greg Street via Twitter. The latest sneaker to take on the “Kryptonate†colorway is this Nike Air Max Hyperize. The sneaker features two shades of green. A dark shade of green is seen on the toe area and throughout the midfoot, while most of the base features a lighter shade of green. Both the Nike Swoosh and outsole use black. “NRâ€, Nate’s shield logo, is seen on the tongue tag. Its hard to take sides between this and the Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonateâ€. But let us know which one you like better.

As most sneakerheads can remember, Nate Robinson pulled out one of the most interesting colorways of the Nike Foamposite Lite ever witnessed last year, but this year, the reigning champ decided to rock a much simpler, Knicks-inspired version of the Nike Air Max Hyperize (seen after the jump). Though Robinson did not wear these sneakers, we have our first look at a Nike Hyperize that hosts the same “Kryptonate” colorway as last year’s model. This pair features a bright green upper with black accents and Nate’s “NR” logo on the tongue. Which pair do you prefer? Did Nate Robinson make the right choice to go with the simple and matching sneakers or should he have worn the much brighter “Kryptonate” Nike Hyperize?

The Air Jordan 2010 officially released just a few days ago, and we are already beginning to see player exclusive colorways of Jordan Brand’s newest sneaker. These sneakers were made exclusively for Dwayne Wade to wear in the 2010 NBA All-Star Game in Dallas, Texas. Featuring a metallic silver upper with white accents and an icey clean sole, this pair is definitely one of the better colorways of the Air Jordan 2010 we have seen upto now. Unfortunately, there is not a high probability of the “Dwyane Wade Player Exclusive” Air Jordan 2010 to make its way to your local retailers anytime soon, but be sure to check back for any updates.

Here we see yet another All-Star sneaker. This time around its the Air Jordan CP3.III. We saw a great showcase of talent yesterday during the NBA All-Star game. But there was a few great superstars that couldn’t play due to injuries. Some include Kobe Bryant, Brandon Roy, and Chris Paul.
Even though Paul didn’t play, he was still given an All-Star sneaker. He was spotted in these in the locker room. The majority of the sneaker comes in white. Red patent leather is seen throughout the shoe including the toe box. A gradient-like design is seen on the midfoot area. The sneaker is finished off with red and white speckled midsole. Im not a big fan of the CP3. III, but these are kind of nice. Let us know how you like these.
