Vans Vault Chukka LX Chicago White Sox
Some of what the Vans brand had in store for us in 2010 included a Spring City Pack, that picked up where City Packs of the past left off. This time around, however, Vans honors the city of Chicago in a slightly different way. Vans has decided to team up with Major League Baseball to the tune of a collection of Vans sneakers commemorating opening day of different MLB teams. Pictured here is a Vans Vault Chukka LX that has been done-up in the Chicago White Sox theme. As of now, this sneaker is limited to twelve pairs, with a matching baseball jersey, and will be made available next Monday, April 5th, from one specific location. Click after the jump to find some more pictures of this shoe, as well as the identity of one shop that promises to have these in stock. And remember to stay tuned for looks at other anticipated MLB teams’ Vans sneakers.

Nike Hyperdunk Low – Blue / White

Filed Under (Nike Hyperdunk) by sneaker-mag on 29-03-2010

Nike Hyperdunk Low Blue White
The Nike Hyperdunk Low is becoming quite a popular sneaker for NBA stars and park ballers alike, simply due to its lightweight and clean design. This Hyperdunk low hosts a blue upper with white accents seen on the midsole, swoosh, outsole, flywire, tongue tag, and rear. In addition, this pair also appears to host a light grey speckle on the midsole which nicely contrasts the overall cleanliness of the upper. The blue/white Nike Hyperdunk Low is now available at selected retailers overseas, but there is currently no word on a future stateside release.

adidas Top Ten Mid Collegiate Navy/White-Aluminum

adidas Top Ten Mid Collegiate NavyWhiteAluminum
Towards the end of January we brought you a look at the “NBA” edition adidas Top Ten high, which drew inspiration from the NBA logo colors and adapted them to the adidas basketball silhouette. As Spring begins to bloom, (albeit way too slowly for many of us), adidas is set to release another basketball shoe. Pictured here is an adidas Top Ten mid-top Collegiate in a navy/white-aluminum colorway that will most likely remind at least some sneaker/college basketball enthusiasts out there of the Georgetown team colors. This modern take on the OG Top Ten silhouette still comes equipped with a herringbone outsole whose edges help increase traction and a padded collar for ankle support. Moreover, the eyelets also read “TOP TEN,” which the brand used as a reference to this particular basketball shoe being endorsed by the ten greatest basketball players of the 1970’s era. This sneaker is available for purchase now from Foot Locker shops and online for the going rate of $75.

Def Jam x adidas El Dorado
If you were bombarded with collaborations of various brands with Nike then it would be no surprise at all if the competing adidas company will not stay behind. After its previous works with other companies that even gained a review on this site just like the Star Wars x CLOT x adidas Originals Skate High HOTH, adidas also showed its original 2010 Summer lineup with a preview of the adidas Originals Rod Laver Vintage. Now let’s take a peek with the El Dorado silhouette from the collaborative efforts of adidas and Def Jam. At first glance, the sneaker has similarities with the spring released Nike Air Force 1 Scream Green because of its lime-colored base. Other features of this El Dorado shoe are primarily blue color, leather base, minimal suede accents throughout the midfoot section and the collar area. You can also spot the branding of the Adidas and Def Jam on the side panels and tongue. Now available at selected retailers like Styles, check out the photos for a closer look.

Nike Blazer Low ND Khaki amp Green
The Nike Blazer Low is a simple silhouette that looks best when it is released in simple colorways, precisely as these two. The first pair hosts a khaki upper accented by a white midsole and mustard laces, while the second sneaker features a green base accented by blue laces and a similar white midsole. Both of these colorways of the Nike Blazer Low ND are now available overseas, and should be available for purchase at your local retailers in the upcoming weeks.

Nike Air Max Hyperize Final Four Pack
Some consider specific numbers as lucky ones while some do not believe on it at all. Even if you have faith with the idea of feng shui or not the Nike stand with its ground for the number four. With the previous review about the two sneakers included on the said pack, two more deserve a place in this article. The Nike Air Max Hyperize Final Four Pack obviously has four striking shoes that are now available on selected Nike retailers. The first two pairs got the inspiration from Purdue and Duke. What left to us is a pair with navy, white and red colorway where it utilized a navy blue patent leather material, white Flywire and red Max Air unit. On the other hand, the other pair has black, red and white colorway that used slick patent black leather material on its mudguard and red Flywire for its quarter panels. What do you think of the final four pack?
