The Reebok team is most definitely making a splash this year with its new Zigtech training shoe. But, being one of the OG players in the sneaker game, Reebok also knows when and how to return to its more classic silhouettes. To that extent, we would like to show you two pairs of the Reebok Freestyle high made especially for the women in red/white and purple/white colorways. This set of two Reebok Freestyle highs will be a part of the brand’s Spring 2010 collection, so be on the look-out for these to hit select Reebok retailers soon after checking out some shots of each colorway after the jump.

If you think that the Nike brand is getting too hyper with the basketball silhouettes, then you should be used to the type of news we bring you now. Just yesterday we saw a new Nike Air Max Hyperfly, and now it’s the Hyperize’s turn. This time around, the Nike Air Max Hyperize has been done-up in a predominantly black base with lyon blue accents in places such as the Flywire panel, on the tongue, and along the entire outsole. This colorway is set to drop early summer time in June- but keep it locked here for a concrete release date once we are given word of one.

Just last week we brought you a look at the Nike Lebron VII Post Season in a black/red-white-gold colorway that we expected to hit select Nike retailers next month. Now we can inform you that this very colorway is set to hit the shelves specifically on Saturday, April 17. Like the Nike Lebron VII low models we’ve seen to this point- the Nike Lebron VII Post Season does not come with the 360-degree Air Max sole unit. Instead, this one comes with your more conventional transluscent outsole. Does the Post Season version of the Nike Lebron VII cement the idea that this latest signature Lebron sneaker tops all of his prior ones?

Have you seen the California Collection? If not then you have not seen Vans Supercorsa in its five new Italian cycling rider-inspired colorways. All with white soles, the sneakers in canvas have colors in green, black, pink, rose and white. But that’s not all, because each sneaker represents its rider that can have either a negative of positive connotation. For examples, the white is worn by the Best Young Rider, rose by the Leader, pink by the Best Sprinter and green is by King of the Mountains. The black one just signifies the negative one.

The TF label which means transform set the two classic adidas silhouettes namely Stan Smith 80s and Superstar a real hit in the market. The blue nylon Stan Smith 80s can have high top and low top looks by just placing a black sheath inside the shoe’s zipper while the grey suede Superstar II has a removable tongue that can be changed in color and a stash spot for extra laces and a gold dubrae.

In June 2009, Nike released the “Ultramarine” Nike Air Max 180 Retro, and we now have a look at the sneaker from whom the aforementioned AM 180 was inspired. This Air Mariah stays true to how it was originally released many years ago, and hosts a white mesh upper with pink accents seen on the midsole and outsole, while ultramarine can be found on the swoosh, rear, and tongue. This Air Mariah is a prime example of Nike giving their fans exactly what they desire, a classic sneaker in a classic colorway.  The “Ultramarine” Nike Air Mariah is now available on the ‘Bay!

Not too long ago, we showcased the Nike Blazer AC High in a white and grey colorway, and we now have a black and white version of the same high-cut strapped sneaker to share. This time around, the Blazer AC High yields a black leather upper with white accents seen on the midsole, swoosh stitching, inner lining, and rear. The key aspects of this Blazer are the straps on the upper, which come in black patent leather. The Nike Blazer AC High – Black/White is now available at selected Nike retailers near you.

Following the increase in the number of European players that joined NBA teams in the last few years, the interest in basketball has increased on the continent. In order to capitalize on this, NBA and Adidas, the official sponsor have announced an agreement that grants the sports giant world wide rights to market NBA apparel.
According to the vice president of Adidas basketball, Lawrence Norman, they’ve got plans to aggressively promote thee items in eastern Europe, Russia and Middle East. In these countries, basketball has increased in popularity and kids there want to emulate their heroes. Such is the case in turkey where players such as Hedo Turkoglu are extremely popular, even more than Michael Jordan.
The deal tries to also capitalize of the fact that Europe will be the focus in the world of basketball in the next 4-5 years, with the FIBA world basketball championships that will be staged in Turkey in 2010 and Spain in 2014, the London Olympics that will be held in 2012, and the European championships that will take place in 2011 and 2013.

Nike presents a new Air Toki ND Canvas for Summer 2010. The mid top sneaker comes in two canvas colorways with leather Swoosh and color accents. Also they present the 4CQ Air Toki, with the 4CG representing the color code of the blue accent on the white upper. All three are now available at 21 Mercer. More detailed looks of the sneakers follow after the jump.

Almost exactly a month ago we showed you the Nike Air Max Hyperfly in a black/royal blue colorway that is set to release in April of this year. Just as we inch closer to that release month, Nike has unveiled a new colorway. Pictured here is a Nike Air Max Hyperfly in a white/black-sport red colorway that will, like the aforementioned pair, be releasing next month as well. This particular colorway of the 5/8-cut basketball sneaker sports a predominantly white upper, as black can be seen along the tongue and ankle lining. Then, a mix of black and red can be found along the sole and Flywire patterning on the mid-panel. Is the Nike Air Max Hyperfly going to be the next basketball sneaker craze?
