There’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers will make the NBA Playoffs. Because of that certainty, Nike didn’t have to wait to design the Nike Zoom Kobe V for the Playoffs. This colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V is part of a collection known as the Playoff Pack. The color choice is the obvious Lakers inspired. The uppers of the sneaker are done up in black. Purple accents are assigned to the tongue, toe cap, and rear panel. Touches of gold are also used on the shoe, and are spotted on the mid panel and Nike Swoosh outline. I have always been a huge fan of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, Â and looking at this pair i could see i made the right choice. Â Look for these are Nike retailers in April.

Getting free stuff, including sneakers, often comes with the territory when you are a celebrity. But what IS rare is when a celebrity merits a customized sneaker based on their athletic accomplishments. Such is the case with comedian Eddie Izzard, who completed 43 marathons in 51 days in his New Balances on behalf of Sports Relief–a huge feat for even the most avid runners. Emblazoned with “Eddie Iz Running” across the toecaps, New Balance rewarded Izzard with his own personalized 576’s as a testimony to his amazing charitable and personal accomplishment. Job well done Eddie!

In 2009, the very first Nike Dunk High ACs were welcomed with a whole lot of reactions. There weren’t so many who were thrilled with the idea of the new designs for the sole, but a few others liked it still. This 2010, Nike came up with new colorways in time for the coming World Cup. All these three were made specifically for France, Netherlands and Brazil.
For the Brazilian shoe, the black canvas has green stripes while the French tema have red pair which blue accents. The Netherlands shoe is in orange with blue stripes. It was heard that there are still more to come for added teams and country inspired colors for the shoes.
