We haven’t seen much of the Air Jordan II so far in 2010. Although we have seen the Premio and the OG colorway of the Air Jordan 2, another colorway of the Jordan 2 was eyed by sneakerheads. The Air Jordan 2 University Blue/Black seems as if it was the most anticipated, but some could argue with the OG colorway. If you ask me, the OG colorway was more hyped and liked around the sneaker community. But some can’t wait for the release date of this Air Jordan II Retro QF, which is July 31st, 2010. So for those of you who don’t have patience, you can pick up a pair now on eBay. Will you cop this Air Jordan II Retro QF?

On July 17th, Nike is releasing their Hypbrid model Nike Lunar 180. This classy looking sneaker features the silhoutte of the famous Air Max 180 paired with modern Lunar Torch materials. Lunar foam is used on the forefoot with Torch material integrated in the upper. Suede paneling and an Air Max heel unit are carried over from the original. Pink and blue accents set off the predominately white upper making these ideal for the summer. See more pics after the jump.

It’s always difficult to guess how a fan base might react to something new or redone. But ever since the Air Jordah Alpha 1 Outdoor released in December of last year, we’ve seen the shoe pick up a strong following of fans. Perhaps the most famous pair is the Player Exclusive edition designed specifically for C.C. Sabathia of the New York Yankees. Now the shoe returns in a very nice, bright colorway that combines silver, black, “laser blue,” and light graphite. Let us know how you feel about the strides made by the Air Jordan Alpha 1 Outdoor so far and whether or not this colorway will be a hit. Check with your local Air Jordan retailer now to see if they, like others, already have this drop in stock.

Recently, we’ve gotten some good looks at how the Vans team has drawn from and applied certain cultural influences to its shoe line. Here’s some more. After last year’s successful collaboration between Vans and Japan’s FLAUGE, the Deconstruct Vans Sk8-Hi returns in burgundy, black, and grey. As one might be able to deduce from the sneaker model’s nickname, the Vans Sk8-Hi Deconstruct was freed of padding to result in a more lightweight frame and has the Vans stripe logo only embroidered in the same color as the upper to give a “one piece” feel to it. What are your thoughts on the Vans Sk8-Hi Deconstruct?

Earlier this week we brought you a look at the Vans Vault Sk8-Hi that boasts an Inca pattern along the upper and catches the eye almost just as much for its colorful display. But it seems as though the Vans team has got those of you who prefer low-top cuts covered as well. Pictured here are two pairs of the Vans Vault Era that also contain touches of Inca-inspired artwork. One comes in a light grey/purple colorway, while the other in brown/pink. These have already begun popping up at some local Vans Vault carriers, so check-in with your favorite spot as soon as possible to get your shot at either or both of these.

A couple of days ago we showed you the Air Jordan VII retro ‘Olympic/For The Love Of The Game’ and now we have detail pics of the Air Jordan IX retro ‘For The Love Of The Game’. The Air Jordan IX features a reverse color-blocking of the Air Jordan ‘Powder’ IXs that dropped in May, and includes the basketball/heart logo on the heel. These are set for a limited release with only 2,000 pairs up for grabs, so getting a pair will be easier said than done but some online vendors have begun to take pre-orders. Stick with Sneakerfiles for release info in the states, but you can also get your pair from Japan retailer kinstor.

A few days ago we were able to bring you a look at the “team orange” Nike Air Max+ 2010. But don’t be too quick to think that Nike’s the best alternative for all your training needs. Pictured here is the Fall 2010 collection of Auckland Racer training shoes being released by the Converse First String Standards lineup. The Auckland Racer silhouette was originally designed in the 1970′s and now comes equipped with the same reflective TPU and nylon mesh seen on a lot of 1970′s clothing, but refurbished to help make the sneaker more sleek and suitable for quick movements. These will be made available soon in black, blue and light grey colorways from select Converse retailers nationwide.

Filed Under (Nike Court Force) by sneaker-mag on 16-07-2010
During the course of 2010, we were not able to see much of the Nike Court Force High sneaker pairs. But there are two brand new colorways that include wolf gray and blue sapphire to help it make a comeback with even a greater bang. The last pair we saw that was included in this collection was the Nike Court Force High in White, Gray, and Red.
Then after that, here are the two brand new pairs that come with a monochromatic look. As it grabs the spotlight, these sneakers have uppers with single color that come in wolf gray and blue sapphire. Its uppers are in monotone and accentuated by its white soles and minimum accents right on the upper base. It has small perforations that can be seen apparent all over the entire uppers. Its swoosh is also in monotone and uses the same kind of material. These are really classic summer shoe models.
